This is a photo of my own beloved pooch. She sustained a serious injury to her knee including a torn cruciate ligament and needed surgery. After having TPLO surgery she received acupuncture and laser therapy weekly, in addition to some physical therapy at home and swimming in a pool. Acupuncture was a key component of her rehabilitation. She has fully recovered with great range of motion and strength and is once again hiking all over mountains of Colorado and retrieving tennis balls and frisbees. My son recently clocked her at 3.2 seconds for the 100′ dash!
“Rebecca was quite professional yet also warmly reassuring as she cared for my very sick puppy, who is now thriving. It was wonderful that she came to me as I live in the mountains. She’s a great veterinarian & I recommend her wholeheartedly!”

“My cat had been vomiting daily. She doesn’t like to be handled so I was worried that she wouldn’t tolerate acupuncture needles. Dr. Monahan used a cold laser and after the first laser acupuncture treatment, she stopped vomiting. Dr. Monahan also gave us helpful information on dietary changes. It felt so nice and relaxing having her come to my home. My cats and me were more relaxed. I would highly recommend Dr. Monahan. She truly cares about the animals and knows what she is doing.”

“Initially Dr. Monahan effectively treated KitCat for a vestibular problem related to her ear. As KitCat has gotten older other age related issues pop up. Things like arthritis, renal insufficiency, eye problem and behavioral issues. Dr. Monahan is able to effectively treat any and all ailments that come up as KitCat gets elderly. At 18 years of age, we ould not be happier with the longevity and overall well being that Dr. Monahan’s acupuncture has allowed our sweet and lovable cat to maintain. KitCat now enjoys her treatments and we are 100% sure that she is happy and with us today because of Dr. Monahan’s acupuncture.”

“Several weeks ago, we were broken hearted, thinking it might be time to euthanize our severely arthritic, geriatric lab-rottie mix, Torque. Weighing in at over 100 pounds, he was largely unable to walk or stand up, and mostly relieved himself from a lying down position. Determined to make him comfortable, and hoping to have more time with him, we looked high and low for a way to help him. Unable to lift him into the car to seek help, our search narrowed to one for veterinarians that make home visits. Dr. Monahan’s name came up almost immediately.
After Torque’s first acupuncture treatment with Dr.Monahan, he was actually able to walk! Now, after several treatments, he is loping down the driveway, digging up his buried bones, able to navigate the two steps into our house, and generally acting like his happy self!!!
Dr. Monahan has an uncanny gift, and we feel so incredibly fortunate to have her in our lives! Her knowledge of veterinary medicine, acupuncture and massage, combined with her “animal sense”, has completely changed what could have been an outcome none of us were ready for. Dr. Monahan is a patient, kind and loving healer who has performed a miracle for us, and we are all extremely grateful. Thank you Dr. Monahan!”

“Dr Monahan treated both our cats in a caring, calm and professional manner that encouraged both cats to sit quietly and seem to enjoy thier treatment. One cat, Panda, had been incessantly licking a spot on her fore leg and had turned it into a hairless raw spot. After just two acupuncture treatments she stopped licking it and it was able to heal normally. Our other cat, Linus, was successfully treated for chronic vomiting.”
